In the part of Chordhopper where you enter the chord tones, why does the game express any preference as to the order in which they're entered? Seems like if they're all played at the same time, it shouldn't matter whether you enter them in ascending order or whatever. Unless, I suppose, part of the object is to correctly identify the root, the fifth, etc.

The preference is meant to indicate awareness of the inversion-at-hand. I realized at the start that it is arbitrary, but there had to be some practical way of differentiating them, and bottom-to-top seemed the most reasonable.
