Pseudo MIDI in.

Postby miguel » Tue Jun 09, 2009 2:43 pm

Hello everybody,

for those who have been requesting MIDI input, I've found a workaround that works fine with IL and NB. I don't believe other posts mention it:

If you are running OSX (10.3 or higher) you may want to download midiStroke. It's free and it allows you to turn MIDI notes into keyboard strokes, matching them to the shortcuts. You could even assign two different note values to each key for root and octave, untill that issue is solved.

Thanks to Charlie Roberts for this nifty little app.

Bome's midi translator seems to be the Windows alternative with the same features.

And by the way, ETC rocks.
